THREE MONTH COURSE

January-March 2021

Classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday
Evenings and weekends available

CLASSES ON THIS THEATRE COURSE INCLUDE

Acting through song

ATS’ is an acting approach to your Repertoire (Song File). You will analyse the lyrics to find more depth to the song. Students will need to think of their songs as monologues not always needing the ‘crutch’ of music. Essentially an acting through song class with a heavy focus on lyric and text. A very important class in any theatre course

Singing essentials

Singing essentials is a class where every student gets to work on their solo song allowing time for individual attention. You will work on the technical singing aspects of your songs, and analyse the breathing, tone, colour and phrasing. Everyone in the class can learn from each other. You will learn the best way to find your own voice and your own sound. You will start with a loose introduction to Bel Canto which you can then modify, enhance and apply Onstage Voices’ Open Voice model to all your repertoire in an individual manner to help you thrive in today's musical theatre world
